Nebyula presents the project “Resilience: Pleasure and Self-Care in a Precarious World” in collaboration with Eigen+Art Lab, Berlin. This exhibition brings together a young generation of South African artists who explore and challenge social norms. It promotes a collective narrative that celebrates resilience, self-care, unconditional love and empowerment. The exhibition provides a unique platform for discussion and addresses narratives of trauma, mental health and the political implications of care work. Viewers are invited to explore the aesthetics of resilience, the importance of unconditional love and healing, and the role of art in promoting social change. It aims to initiate discussions on art as activism, psychoanalytic perspectives and global views on women’s experiences.
