With the exhibition “ultrahappy”, Gülbin Ünlü celebrates the mash-up that is reflected in her interdisciplinary approach, which encompasses painting, artistic collaborations, photographic and video works, performance and music and draws on archives and AI. The artist cites pop culture references as well as autobiographical traces, and migration and displacement appear again and again like an echo.
