“Nostralgia” stretches space and time through subtle interventions at the often overlooked thresholds of the building. Starting from the staff entrance of Haus der Kunst, Gülbin Ünlü invites visitors to explore the institution anew through closed but present doors. The work unfolds as a silent choreography of immobility – activated by the liveliness of its traversal. The Soft Opening on 8.5.25 marks the start of a series of performative events. As part of Open Haus – on the last Friday of every month – “Nostralgia” will henceforth be activated by sound, movement and presence in ever new forms.
