The exhibition EN HIVER brings together three artists whose work explores weight, fragility, and the fleeting nature of the moment, focusing on time, memory, and the delicate presence of human experience.
Ossian Fraser presents monumental, seemingly weightless balloons: a black balloon floating above Munich’s Bayerischer Hof and a white weather balloon hovering over the tomb of Heinrich Heine, suspended between visibility and invisibility, evoking the ineffable.
Sophie Schweighart turns her attention to mock bus stops in nursing homes, where residents with dementia wait in the hope of returning home—moments in which time and memory shift.
Ludwig Dressler transforms everyday digital gestures, such as zooming, into fragile acrylic sculptures that oscillate between presence and absence.
Together, the three artists create a poetic landscape of fragility.
