In the exhibition “Palme Stoff Papier”, Judith Karcheter will present her working process and the visual vocabulary of geometric shapes and a broad spectrum of colours on which her works are based. She has developed this over the years and incorporates it into collages, textile works, objects and expansive installations.
Making visible what remains hidden – the works of the Berlin-based artist are more than just visual appearances. Clear forms meet subtle narrative structures, colourful compositions evoke poetic associations, the precise arrangement in space testifies to conceptual strength. Every object, every wall piece and every performative gesture follows a well thought-out choreography that is also transferred into the space.
