‘Malen, Denken, Handeln’ brings together new gouaches, drawings, and canvases in various formats – all created with great luminosity, many produced exclusively for the exhibition.
Behrang Karimi’s works exist within a dimension of intuition, emerging from an inner, intimate space that evokes moments of pause and contemplation. Personal images, rooted in experiences and memories, tend toward the metaphorical, lending them a certain abstraction despite their engagement with figuration. Through various tonalities, moods, and gestures, image-making becomes a performance – seeking the fragile moment when a mood or a memory materializes.
