The Ilse Blank-Mezger-Hesselberger Foundation (Munich) is a non-profit foundation. Its work focuses on supporting the arts (Blank Art Foundation) and researching German-Jewish history, particularly in Munich and Bavaria.
With the BLANK ART FOUNDATION Photo Award— launched in 2026—we aim to draw attention to current trends in contemporary photography. The award fosters young photographic talent and recognizes outstanding artistic approaches that engage with the designated theme: “HUMANITY – ABOUT YOU: ‘Human Being and Humanity’.” The exhibition showcases the award-winning works.
