Fine Tuning explores the subtle inner world of the individual – a mental sphere that is constantly in dialogue with its surroundings. Based on a new Western sensibility in which mind and body are understood as goods in need of care, the work examines what contemporary forms of this “care” might look like and to what extent the placebo effect functions as an aesthetic principle.
