The art space dives into the “nasty universe” – or vice versa. In her exhibition at Kunstraum München, Franziska Nast mixes existential and non-existential emotional states to create a multi-layered overall picture. Between transience, lightheartedness, longing, party, glamour and resistance, the complex emotional states of the “nasty universe” unfold on the upper and lower floors of the Kunstraum. This not only opens up an examination of memory, care work, gender and affect, but also reveals the fractures and overlaps between the different roles of being a woman* and an artist*.
