Kim-Camille Kreuz’s practice explores traces, imprints, and the material presence of things, often using found objects in fragmented, serial arrangements that examine reproduction, surrogacy, and the relation between original and copy. Her work retains a subtle bodily presence through materials and space, hovering between object and absence.
The series I can’t tell you right now shows details from a regional bus in southern France. Over two months, the artist took the same route daily, producing one photograph per ride. The black-and-white images are UV-printed on glass, making each piece both image and object. The transparent glass and cardboard backing give the prints a warm sepia tone.
