The second talk in the series with Dr Karin Berkemannwill take place as part of the exhibition Ressource, Research, Reset – Architectural Transformation of Sacred Spaces by the Chair of Design at TUM. The focus is on Ressource.

Karin Berkemann (*1972) is an art historian and theologian. She trained as an architect in heritage conservation, has been involved in church building projects since 2002 and is a curator at the Gustaf Dalman Institute at the University of Greifswald. She is also co-founder and editor of the online magazine moderneREGIONAL (2018 German Prize for Monument Conservation, Internet Prize).

The exhibition examines the future of sacred spaces and presents utilisation concepts. The discussion focuses on their architectural and cultural substance as well as research into their historical and structural aspects.
