As some of you know, I have been doing a Sad Tuesdays reading group on and off for some time. The idea was you would read but not socialise, ie. not drink. It is why I started writing “Sad Mondays” for Porcile, which essentially was such a one-person book club. Well, I am trying again this time on Saturday, and I am going to call it “Sad Saturday” – hah! – because I am so inventive. It will be part of the Various Other Special exhibition, Carrying the Earth to the Sky, which I also curated.
We will be reading fragments of Deleuze’s short text “Michel Tournier and the World without Others” on which my exhibition text is based. Here is a link to the Logic of Sense, where the essay can be found but photocopies will be available at the site as well.
