On the occasion of the last weekend of their two exhibitions, Anna Ehrenstein and Gülbin Ünlü talk about their projects, about similarities and differences. In “Fully Automated Orientalism”, Anna Ehrenstein combines different geographies, media and cultural forms to tell a coherent story about the ongoing negotiations of identity in a post-colonial world. In the four rooms of “ultrahappy”, Gülbin Ünlü celebrates the mash-up that is reflected in her interdisciplinary approach, which includes painting, artistic collaborations, photographic and video works, performance and music, and draws on archives and AI.
