In the second artist talk of the exhibition ‘Zunder und Zartheit’, we focus on the work of an artist who works with fine observation and great seriousness between poetry and reflection. In conversation with him, we want to find out how his artistic approach relates to the central questions of the exhibition:
What happens when men not only show strength, but also allow for doubt? How do images emerge in which fragility plays a role – without losing expression? And how can an artistic stance be found that does not want to get caught up in clichés?
The discussion offers the opportunity to get to know the works in depth and to view them in the light of the social issues raised by ‘Zunder und Zartheit’.
