Curtis Talwst Santiago is a Canadian-Trinidadian multidisciplinary artist and educator who works in sculpture, drawing and painting, performance, and video. He began his practice as an apprentice to Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun.
He has exhibited internationally at venues such as the Drawing Center and the New Museum, New York, the Yale University Art Gallery, the Eli and Edythe Broad Museum at Michigan State University, the Institute of Contemporary Art at Virginia Commonwealth University, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, and the Osage Gallery, Hong Kong.
His works are included in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada, the Kadist Foundation, the Studio Museum, Harlem, the Nevada Museum of Art, and the Lehnbachhaus Munich, among others.
