Life is made up of references. Antje Engelmann and Klaus vom Bruch are two artists who locate themselves in a network of relationships within their autoethnographic investigations. Societies are held together by conventions like a corset. They create moral frameworks that can extend to existential breathlessness. “In a Body” presents new work compositions that thematise breaking out of norms. It is the absent bodies that make a transcendent appearance.
