The exhibition titled Luz del Sur showcases works created by artist Gala Berger during her residency at AIR-M Ebenböckhaus.
Berger’s work across disciplines informs her textile collage pieces, evoking overlooked narratives and connecting them to contemporary urgencies. Her installations incorporate fabrics, pigments, digital files, tablecloths, prints, and oral histories, which are composed into mobiles, wall hangings, and large-format textile works.
Luz del Sur takes its title from an electric utility company in Lima. Here, the reference becomes a point of connection – between cities, between dim light and shadow, organic matter and industrial surfaces.
There will be an exhibition text by curator Laura Ganda.
In collaboration with space n.n. and the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich.
