Deborah Schamoni brings together four international artistic positions in her summer exhibition À l’heure dorée: Hilda Kortei, Kateryna Lysovenko, Ad Minoliti, and Francis Offman. While their approaches differ, they share a common courage in their use of expressive colour. The golden hour is momentary. In this exhibition, that succinctness becomes the central condition. Each work holds lightat the edge of disappearance, and the show unfolds as an unfinished script, its scenes assembled but never resolved. Rose, gold, ultramarine, umber. Four characters meet at the golden hour, each carrying a secret the others suspect. The script stays open, the constellation unresolved, and as with every rendezvous in this light, a deep shadow arrives with it.
