On the occasion of the solo exhibition “Spontaneous Generation (Facts of Life)” by Mathew Hale, a conversation will take place exploring the drawing series and related themes. Julie Mehretu – a long-time friend of Hale who has contributed a text to the forthcoming catalogue (X Artists’ Books, Berlin/Los Angeles) – will travel to Munich to join the artist in a discussion within the exhibition space.
