The exhibition FRESH HORIZONS [NEW MEMBERS OF BBK MUNICH AND UPPER BAVARIA] gives a direct look into the artistic work of twelve artists who have been newly admitted to the professional association of visual artists in the past two years. There is no overarching theme; instead, the exhibition offers a direct, unfiltered insight into individual artistic practice. The works cover a wide range of media – from painting, ceramics, and jewelry to installation, kinetic objects, and video. In this variety, different materials, approaches, and aesthetic questions meet on equal footing. The participating artists, aged 34 to 75, represent an intergenerational present, where experience and experimentation unfold equally.. The exhibition is conceived as a snapshot: an open, multivoiced presentation of current artistic positions – and at the same time as a welcoming gesture from the BBK, providing an insight into the diversity of its members.
