You are warmly invited to the opening ritual of INHABITING TIME (25 September – 13 December), the third CURRENT* in Lothringer 13 Halle’s programme. Posing the question of how time can not only be narrated, measured, and experienced, but also inhabited, the exhibition shifts the focus towards the temporal conditions of the building as a habitat: its rhythms and repositories, the duration of experiences, and notions of past and future that sediment themselves in architecture, bodies, and institutional routines. Together, we will experience the performance I’M SITTING IN A HOUSE OF ECHO CHAMBERS by Beni Brachtel (live electronics) and Himansh Pandey (bansuri flute), amidst works by Daniel Falb, Georgi Gospodinov, Driton Selmani, Sophie Thun, Beni Brachtel, Himansh Pandey, Anna McCarthy, Vincent Scheers, and Karina Synytsia. *CURRENTS are conceived as chapters that respond to one another: what one chapter sets in motion continues to resonate in the next.
