Carl-Christian Perch-Nielsen’s exhibition is an emotional environment of photographs depicting hand-sewn stuffed animals, exploring the ambiguous moment when photographs bring inanimate material to life. The stuffed animals are destined as props, made as temporary objects only to exist for the lens. The damaged lives of the pitiful anti-heroes are mirrored in a haphazard approach towards the photographic process, questioning whether the insistent gazes really can be trusted.
