Opening of the group exhibition “The Refrain,” a collaboration between GiG Munich and the whiteBOX artists, Kristin Brunner, Christian Horacio Probst, Nina Radelfahr, Patricia Wich, with invited guest, Léa Manoussakis di-Bona. All participating artists work with rhythm, whether these are the rhythms found in nature (Radelfahr) or the open-ended rhythms of play (Probst). Social rituals relating to celebration or death are a key aspect of Wich’s and Brunner’s art practice, and Manoussakis di-Bona’s interactive sound installation concentrates on the act of rehearsal.
